Robby Woodworth x SE Co. Chair

Special Edition Co. collaborated with furniture designer Robby Woodworth on the design of a custom fabricated and upholstered chair. Robby's objective with his work is to stimulate cognitive dissonance through furniture. His design is very process driven and he aims to create a unique and thought provoking experience for the user while interacting with his work. We worked closely with Robby to design a composition of digitally rendered 3D forms which contrast the analog materials of the chair. During this process, we took into consideration how areas of the design would interact with other areas when cut apart and upholstered to the dimensional form of the chair.
